The Vessel is a young girl who has the ability to control the stars and her blood is said to be able to grant immortality. However, the vessel is also the target of many powerful curses and must be protected at all costs.

In the present, Gojo and Geto are tasked with escorting the ship to Master Tengen, a powerful sorcerer who can keep it safe. However, they are not the only ones interested in the Vessel. The Star Religious Group, a cult that worships the stars, also sent an assassin after her.

The killer is Toji Fushiguro, a powerful non-wizard who is known as the Wizard Killer. Toji is able to easily defeat Gojo and Geto and kidnaps the Vessel. Left to chase after him, Gojo and Geto vow to save the Vessel and bring her to Master Tengen.

The episode ends with a short scene of Toji and Vessel now on their way to meet the Star Religious Group. Toji tells the Vessel that she is the key to their plans and that he will use her to achieve their goals.
