Summary:
Maki has almost destroyed the Zenin clan and now it’s time to face her mother. Naoya survives his defeat, but an ironic and fitting fate awaits her. After all the chaos, Maki leaves her sister and continues to move forward to make sure her promise is fully fulfilled.
Plot:
Maki finds her mother in the kitchen and gets a very angry reaction from her.
Maki’s mother tells her to stay back, but Maki wants to know why she told her to come back before entering the cursed warehouse. Maki’s mother, too distraught to remember, can only ask what Maki is talking about. Disgruntled, Maki approaches her mother, who screams several times in panic before her blood splatters on the wall.

Hei and Kukuru’s units were completely decimated and their corpses lined the premises. Badly injured but still alive, Naoya walks around with his face bleeding all over the ground until he falls through a door to the ground in one of the buildings. He taunts Maki for not finishing him, but her mother suddenly walks up behind him. His throat is cut and he’s bleeding to death, but he’s also holding a kitchen knife.
Naoya is too injured to use his cursed energy and Maki’s mother stabs him in the back and lies on top of him as they both die. Naoya calls her trash, but she has a pitiful ending and can’t do anything about it. As Maki and Mai’s mother is dying, she admits that she was glad she gave birth to the twins.
Maki there is a Zenin trait with a Mai body. Momo Nishimiya arrives, apparently too late after anxiously chasing after Mai. Apparently Mai left Kyoto and Momo told her not to go. Momo, now seeing that Mai has died as a result of her regret, cries and sobs. Maki hands over Maia’s body for Momo to take care of. Momo asks Maki what she’s going to do now, but she still quietly leaves with Maia’s blade in hand.
According to the official record, all members of the Zenin clan who were not present that day died a violent death. No remains were found except trace amounts from the cursed tool. A few days later, the Gojo and Kamo clans suggested removing the Zenin Clan from the Great Three Magical Families. The Jujutsu Command is deferring the verdict for now.
