Plot:
On the train to Shibuya, Kasumi Miwa is holding one of Mechamaru’s communication devices. She is disappointed when Kokichi’s voice informs her that the Shibuya incident will be resolved any moment. He tells her to go back because it’s too late, but Kasumi ignores him and asks why he allowed Todo and Arata to go to Shibuya.
Kokichi falsified the records so that everyone else in the group, including Utahime, was gone from Shibuya on October 31st. Kasumi questions if she is useless and weak because he didn’t trust her and everyone to go. Kokichi counters that he’s the weak one and admits that he’s made mistakes he couldn’t even walk past. He admits that there was someone he loved and believed that they would be fine no matter the state of the world as long as they were together. Kokichi wanted it to be, even if the girl didn’t want his protection.
As his time runs out, Kokichi says his last goodbyes to Kasumi, who cries for losing him. Kokichi asks Kasumi to find her happiness, adding that as long as she does, his wish will come true. For a moment, Kokichi appears sitting next to Kasumi in the reflection of the window as they say goodbye. His image disappears when he looks in the window, symbolizing that he is gone forever. The other members who were left out of the incident hear Kasumi crying from another car on the train.
Mai questions Utahime about Mechamaru’s betrayal, but Utahime doesn’t believe it matters since Kokichi was killed. Kamo is disappointed, Mechmaru expected so little from them, but Momo is just furious that he made her cute junior cry.
Meanwhile, at Shibuya station, a battle rages between Mahito and the jujutsu wizards. With his fighting spirit revived, Yuji effectively fights alongside Todo to keep Mahito on the defensive. Mahito knows that Todo’s soul is at full power and one transfiguration may not be enough to kill him. Yuji’s soul is in a much less stable state, but Mahito isn’t in great shape either. He feels down to less than half his full power after his doppelgänger was destroyed and was hit by the Black Flash after Yuji’s flurry of attacks. It all started with Nobara, making Mahito admit that even though Nobara is nobody to him, Nobara left her mark in this battle.
Mahito plans to deal with the Toda switch first and tries to use the transfigured human to distract Yuji. However, Mahito is surprised when Todo uses the Boogie Woogie to switch places with the transformed human. This allows him to get behind Mahito and force the curse to destroy his own weapon at the same time. Todo thinks that now that Mahito can use Black Flash, he feels like he’s behind. Yuji refused to be left behind and used the technique during the Goodwell Event. Refusing to let Yuji feel alone, Todo unleashes black sparks himself. Delivering a picture-perfect high kick, Todo hits Mahita with Black Flash!
Mahito’s arm was broken by Todo’s Black Flash, but he doesn’t believe Todo could hurt him like that. Even so, the special grade recognizes that all three fighters have reached one hundred and twenty percent of their potential. Mahito voluntarily vomits up several miniature transformed humans and fuses them together with Soul Multiplicity. Mahito immediately activates Body Repel and creates several morphed snake heads that try to bite hissing opponents with their giant teeth.
Repel points break through the Shibuya underground to the streets above. Yuji and Todo are forced to move and avoid mid-air attacks. He realizes that Mahito is facing Boogie Woogie attacks from all directions. He admits that it’s time for them to reach the next level of battle, and Mahito adds that this is their last chance to curse each other.
