Summary:
Yuji must control his emotions while watching the movies if he ever wants to gain control over the cursed energy. Megumi continues training alongside the second years. After leaving his session with Yuji, Satoru Gojo crosses paths with an unregistered special class cursed spirit, Jogo.
Plot:
Gojo sensei informs Yuji that he will watch movies to help him control his emotions. He won’t be alone as Gojo assigns him to hold onto one of the director’s cursed corpses while watching movies. The doll will wake up and attack unless it receives a constant stream of cursed energy.
There are a number of movies that are supposed to evoke different emotions with Yuji. He has to let the cursed corpse sleep while he sits through every movie. The training is to help Yuji control his cursed energy under any conditions. However, he can only keep the doll asleep for short bursts and is quickly frustrated.
Meanwhile, Megumi sits down with Maki and Panda to discuss using cursed tools. Megumi decided to keep her hands free. Maki says that some jujutsu wizards can tame familiars who can store weapons for them, but it’s a rare ability. Sukuna had previously mentioned that Megumi shouldn’t have run when faced with this particular degree. Instilled with more confidence, Megumi believes he might be able to store weapons in the shadow of his shikigami.
Satoru leaves Yuji to continue his training alone. Before he leaves, Gojo sensei asks Yuji if he agreed to any of Sukuna’s conditions to mend his heart. Yuji remembers talking to Sukuna, but doesn’t remember the details. On the way to meet the principal, Satoru asks Kiyotaka to stop the car and leave it on the road.
Jogo suddenly appears from the sky to ambush Satoru, but the most powerful jujutsu wizard is ready to attack. The curse uses flames to try to burn Satoru, suggesting that it is nothing special. However, Satoru survives the attack effortlessly and realizes that this cursed special grade is both highly intelligent and unregistered.
Satoru acknowledges that Jogo is even more powerful than the current Sukuna. Despite this, he is excited about this chance to fight.
