Summary:
With a ¥30 million bounty on Riko Amanai’s head, curse users invade her school in an attempt to collect the reward. Toji Fushiguro’s plan provides free labor for the Star Cult while the Guardians of the Star Plasma Vessel try to find the girl and fend off the intruders.
Plot:
Toji sits on the phone with Shiu Kong and eats at the dumpling stall. He learns that the wizards protecting the Star Plasma Vessel have not returned to Jujutsu High. This is good for the Time Vessel Association, because now more than just total lunatics will be after the bounty. The representative points out that the thirty million he was paid was a service fee, so if someone else kills the star plasma container, Toji may end up with nothing. Sorcerer Killer isn’t afraid though, he knows that Gojo boy will take care of anyone who comes after them.
Satoru Gojo is the first in a hundred years in the Gojo family to wield both the six eyes and the cursed Limitless technique. Toji isn’t even sure if he could take out the star plasma vessel with Satoru. He plans to use the curse users for the remaining thirty nine hours of the mission to destroy Goj’s group. It will be free labor because no one will be able to pay the reward. The representative realizes that the two-day limit works in their favor. Plus it makes it easier for them to collect curse users.
Toji says that things are moving faster than he expected and that he will be moving out soon as well. He tells the representative to have the thirty million ready, but the man wants to talk about his cut, which Toji isn’t interested in.
At Renchoku Girls Junior High, Satoru, Suguru, and Kuroi move to find Riko. He is in a music class that takes place either in the music room or in the chapel. Suguru plans to head straight for the intruders while Satoru and Kuroi split up to find Riko. Satoru is irritated because he wanted to stay close to the girl. Kuroi apologizes because Riko didn’t want to be seen with boys at an all-girls school.
Suguru separates himself, wondering who these curse users could be with. Without Q, the hired muscle for the Time Vessel Association could be a problem. Suguru turns down the hall and runs into an old man who immediately covers his front and back with shikigami. The curse user recognizes Suguru’s uniform and assumes that they are multiple opponents. Suguru notices this and realizes that his opponent knows what he is doing. His opponent analyzes him as well, recognizing the student’s cursed technique is a kind of manipulation of the curse.
The old man continues his conversation with Suguru while planning how to get close. Suguru tells him not to waste time plotting and uses his giant worm curse to fill the entire corridor. Suguru believes he has won, but a curse user appears from the window behind him, using the blind spot his opponent created to his advantage. He gets in close and believes he has the advantage. When the curse user was a young student, he had a dog that he thinks his life is flashing before his eyes.
Suguru controls the old man in close quarters and knocks him unconscious with a wild succession of rapid blows. Recognizing that the old man wanted to get close, he stated that fighters with only one way to win were easy to manipulate. He asks the old man if he is affiliated with Q or the Time Vessel Association. Satoru and Kuroi continue on their way to Riko who is currently in the chapel. Nearby is a second curse user with a paper bag over his head. Tonight he wants to get an eel and eat a meal paid for in blood.
