Summary:
After the curses invade Jujutsu High, Geta’s plans for Satoru Gojo move to the next stage of planning. Meanwhile, instead of mourning, the students decide to end the Goodwill Event with a competitive baseball game.
Plot:
Haruta Shigemo walks in an underground cave, thinking that there is nothing he can do during the invasion. At that moment, Hanami suddenly falls from the ceiling of the cave and collapses as Haruta comments on how Hanami has transformed himself. Noticing how exhausted Hanami is, Haruta decides to try to kill Hanami, but Mahito appears and stops him. Haruta asks if Mahito has completed the mission, who will confirm.
In a flashback, Geto is seen talking to Mahito, Hanami, and Jogo about Tengen’s barrier changing positions every day. Jogo asks who Tengen is, when Geto replies that he is an immortal wizard, Jogo gets excited and asks again who is stronger, Tengen or Satoru Gojo. Geto explains that he doesn’t have to worry about them. When Hanami asks why they don’t seal Gojo in the veil, Geto explains that they don’t want to divert his attention to Mahito’s main mission. Geto believes that one of the students is acting as a landmine for Sukuna, and if they kill the student, all of their current plans will be ruined. Jogo suggests that they hijack Sukuna’s vessel, but Geto says that Sukuna is a bomb for both them and Jujutsu High.
In the present, Mahito and Hanami are in an underground cave, Mahito helps Hanami up, who admits to Mahito that it’s hard to hold the curse to dampen their murderous intent, which satisfies Mahito, who says that Hanami sounds more like a cursed spirit.
At Tokyo Jujutsu High, Ijichi reads the list of victims and confirms that it was the work of Mahito, who was also the one who stole the cursed items. Utahime asks if they should inform the students and other wizards about this, as Yaga says it’s best for them to leave it to the higher ups. When Yaga asks if the cursed user they captured spilled any information, Juzo does not provide any useful information and only says that he was tricked by a white monk into taking part in the raid. Mei Mei asks Gojo if the “androgynous monk’s child” will ring, who denies it. When Utahime asks how they were able to sneak through Tengen’s barrier, Gojo believes that they managed to slip through Tengen’s barrier thanks to the work of a special cursed spirit the students were fighting. Gojo also states that Tengen’s barrier does not work with plants and the barrier is only for concealment and not protection. With all that has happened, the directors decide it would be best to cancel the goodwill event. However, Gojo claims that they do not decide about him.
Meanwhile, in the treatment ward, Yuji and Nobara visit Megumi as she eats. Nobara asks what’s going on with Yuji and Aoi, but Yuji says that he wasn’t quite himself during that time. Yuji expresses that he is glad that Megumi is not seriously injured, while also commenting that she can now eat pizza. Megumi complains and asks them to give him something easier to digest, but Nobara doesn’t complain. Fushiguro reveals that he was able to get away easier because he was drained of cursed energy, allowing Shoko to remove the Cursed Bud. Megumi comments that Yuji has gotten stronger and claims to surpass him. Stunned, Aoi suddenly appears between Yuji and Nobara, claiming that she expects such things from her friend’s brother.
When Yuji notices Aoi, he immediately runs away from Aoi who chases after him and asks where he is going. Yuji says that his thinking was not normal at the time and is unable to explain their bond. The next day, Gojo meets with the students to decide whether or not they should continue with the goodwill event. A lot has happened, so Yuji and some of the other students are hesitant about it, but Aoi speaks up and says they should continue with the event. To everyone’s surprise, Aoi begins to list some solid points that lead to the other students agreeing as well. Gojo decides to remove the individual part of the event and has Yuji choose a team event at random, where Yuji ends up choosing baseball, much to the surprise of both principals who were trying to keep the tradition going. The baseball game begins with Kasumi Miwa batting while Utahime and Momo argue over the rules. Kamo comes to the bat and asks Yuji the catcher why he became a jujutsu wizard.
Yuji explains that he wants to help people and not die alone. Noritoshi only became a jujutsu wizard to help his mother, so he understands Yuji’s reasoning. Intrigued by Yuji, Noritoshi decides not to swing and is easily beaten by Maki. The teams switch sides and Nobara steps up to bat while Mechamaru controls the pitching machine. Angered by her opponent’s advantage, Nobara confronts Mai at first base before she manages to hit the ball while she is at bat. Megumi sacrifices on a bunt to allow Nobara to advance a base while Panda and Maki take advantage, helping the team seemingly score three points. However, because Momo uses her broom to catch Maki’s ball. The Tokyo students argue that it’s cheating while Aoi steps up to bat. He wants to face Yuji, who is more of a pitcher than a catcher, which angers Maki, who hits him in the face with the ball. Almost everyone on the field congratulates her and Yuji realizes how hated Todo is. As the game continues, the two principals talk about Yuji. Gakuganji admits that he hates Yuji, but the rules mean that his presence cannot be ignored. Sukuna could cause mass death, but Yaga believes Yuji could save even more potential lives as a wizard. All the wizards are very sorry, as is Yaga with her former student Suguru Get. Therefore, it is important for teachers to support students from now on,
As the baseball game draws to a close, Yuji hits a home run to help Toge score two points. The 30th Annual Kyoto Goodwill Event is finally coming to a close, and Tokyo High is the winner.
Juju Stroll
The students of Tokyo Jujutsu High are asked if they prefer bread or rice. Panda lurks in the background as they give their answers, upset that none of them said “Panda.” He sits alone and laments that it’s forced and Yuji says that the showrunners have run out of ideas.
