Summary:
At the climax of the battle at Sakurajima Colony, Naoya unleashes his devastating domain expansion! However, Maki’s newfound freedom empowers her to face any challenge, including anything Naoya can throw at her.
Plot:
Naoya traps Hagane Daido and Rokujushi Miyo inside his domain extension, the Moon Palace Time Cell. The domain’s auto-hit effect doesn’t seem to do any damage, so both fighters decide to attack Naoyi. However, as soon as they start to move, bleeding wounds appear all over their bodies.
Naoya explains that anyone in his domain must follow the second rule of 24FPS Projection Sorcery. The domain increases the accuracy of the cursed technique and allows it to target cells. Anyone who disobeys this rule will have their cells become unstable and bleed profusely from immediate wounds.
Miyo falls to the ground and Noaya praises his own abilities until he realizes that he still can’t find Maki. Daido tries to attack but his arm is clean and Naoya tells him to stop playing. Maki takes the katana from Daido’s severed hand and stabs Noaya in the back with it. She has no cursed energy, so the domain treats her like a building, allowing her to enter and exit freely. Until Maki gives her consent or Naoya uses the outer barrier structure like Megumi in Tokyo Colony #1, Naoya cannot catch Maki.
On the beach where Maki’s consciousness has said goodbye to Mai, the twin sisters are reunited. They shake hands and Mai is proud that her sister understood her content and completely freed herself. The blade she left behind for Maki is an exact replica of Toji Zenin’s Split Soul Katana, which can only be used by those who can sense inorganic matter.
Naoya turns her head 180 degrees and transforms it into a curse-like state to attack Maki. She believes she is trapped alone and will not be able to move inside the domain, but she is wrong. Maki has no cursed energy, so domain auto hit can’t target her at all. He slices Naoy’s head in half with an upward slash, banishing him once and for all.
The domain dissolves as Naoya dies and both Daido and Miyo survive. Daido and Niyo witness a monstrous warrior equal to Toji himself as Maki fully realizes.
