Summary:
Choso severely injures the murderer of his brothers and brings him to the brink of defeat. Yuji refuses to lose and decides to forget his own life to stop Choso. Exhausted, badly injured, and at the climax of their duel, both Yuji and Choso gave it their all to win.
Plot:
Choso shoots a hardened blood meteorite through Yuji’s liver.
Yuji is taken aback as he thought Choso was projectile-free thanks to Mechamaru’s water trick. Yuji immediately recognizes that he has been hit in an internal organ and ponders the thought of losing and dying. However, he stomps on the ground and refocuses.
Yuji transforms his fear into cursed energy and clears his mind of all distractions. Yuji knows his role, he must do his best to help save Gojo sensei, even if it costs him his life. He doesn’t have to be the one to save him, and Yuji is ready to die if that’s what it takes to take down Chos.
At the same time, Choso laments the great damage he has taken. Yuji only lands three significant hits, but Choso is moderately injured. He knows that using another surprise attack with Blood Meteorite won’t work. Blood manipulation is not generally used to make blood clot. Blood Edge creates a blade by twisting the user’s blood into a cutting shape. Choso improvises and hardens the entire fist and much of the forearm using the blood inside the body. He is in danger of spontaneously developing a thrombosis, but Choso discovers that Yuji is a more serious threat.
Yuji and Choso exchange blows once more, and Yuji is able to anticipate his opponent’s moves at close range. He dodges a punch and a vicious kick before ducking behind the bathroom door and locking it. This confuses Chos, but Yuji suddenly bursts through the door and kicks him in the face. Choso narrowly blocks with his hardened hand, but Yuji wraps his legs around his opponent’s head and throws him a flying scissors. As Choso staggered, Yuji moved away, waving his right hand. He believes Choso thinks his left arm is useless after taking a direct hit from the first Piercing Blood.
Yuji waved his right hand as the decoy seems to land a hard left hand punch to the body. However, something is wrong with Yuji and Choso suddenly snaps his collarbone with a violent hammer fist to the shoulder. This leaves a giant hole where Yuji’s shoulder should be, leaving him vulnerable to Choso’s next attack. Death Image ends the fight with a crushing blow to Yuji’s stomach that sends him across the room and into a wall.
Choso lifts his robes to reveal that he has hardened the part of his body that Yuji attacked. Yuji falls unconscious, still barely breathing. Wanting to end him, Choso tells the jujutsu wizard to ask for his brother’s forgiveness on the other side. However, something suddenly stops Choso. At that moment, a memory was born in Chos’ brain. A memory of a past event that never happened.
