Summary:
Yuji was defeated by Choso. But before he can avenge his brothers, a memory of something that never happened invades Chos’s mind. Meanwhile, Nanami teams up with Zenina’s team and runs into Dagon at Shibuya Station.
Plot:
Victorious, Choso tells Yuji to ask Ace and Kechiza for forgiveness in the afterlife.
Sukun watches from his innate domain disappointed by Yuji’s performance. He calls the jujutsu student worthless and can’t believe he lost to such an inferior opponent. Suddenly Cho’s head starts throbbing and he stumbles away from Yuji, suddenly hit with a headache. At that moment, a memory of a past event that never happened was born in Cho’s brain.
Choso recalls eating peacefully at the picnic table with all his brothers, including Yuji. The two ate with Eso and Kechizu as well as the other six brothers who were still sealed in restrictions like the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. Yuji even gave him some food and called Choso “big brother”. When the flashback ends, Choso leans forward, sweat dripping profusely from his face. He doesn’t understand what’s going on and asks himself why Yuji was outside of this memory. As Choso stumbles around in confusion, Mimiko and Hanako appear to feed one of Sukuna’s fingers to the unconscious container.
At 22:20 on the Inokashira Line from Shibuya Station, Nanami and Zenin head towards B5F. Nanami informs them about the sealing of Satoru Gojo and the involvement of Pseudo-Geto. Naobito mentions that he wouldn’t mind the decline of the Gojo family, prompting Maki to tell him to leave if he wasn’t going to help.
The head of the Zenin family believes that Maki is the one who should go home. Nanami actually agrees with Naobito because he left Nobara behind due to the dangers of the mission. Maki believes she is more useful than her drunken grandfather. Annoyed, Nanami asks Naobito if he’s been drinking, and the Special Grade 1 magician claims he did no such thing. When they reach the lower levels of the station, Nanami thinks that maybe he should have gone alone.
Maki notices something as she runs and Nanami sees it too. A Dagon Octopus-like curse hides behind one of the pillars in the open area. Nanami draws her sword and prepares to exorcise him when Naobito suddenly appears behind Dagon. Naobito traps Dagon in the frame with his cursed technique. While Dagon is immobilized inside the frame, Naobito lands a hard left straight that sends a curse across the room and crashes into another pillar. Nanami and Maki didn’t even see what happened, it was so fast, with the former believing it was even too fast.
The impact severely injures Dagon and causes him to regurgitate the skeletal remains of the many non-wizards he has eaten. Writhing in pain, Dagon calls out to his allies, including Hanami. Dagon suddenly realizes that Hanami is dead, which enrages him and forces him to evolve. Dagon sheds his tiny skin and evolves into a much larger, muscular form. Naobito realizes that the curse was so weak before because he was just a cursed womb.
