Summary:
After Hanami’s demise, Jogo tries to buy more time while Choso hardly helps. It’s still too easy for Satoru Gojo. Meanwhile, Mei Mei’s team learns that a train full of surprises is headed to Shibuya just for him.
Plot:
Frantically gasping for air as he runs away from the strongest jujutsu wizard, Jogo stumbles through the crowded platform of the Fukutoshin Line. Satoru follows close behind with an extremely dark and menacing presence
Choso silently tries to hide in the chaos among the crowd of civilians while his ally panics. Jogo tries to push people into Satoru’s path and strike from behind, but Infinity is able to stop the person mid-air and just like Jogo’s punch.
Not wanting to let Hanami’s death be in vain, Jogo runs away and plans to buy time with hit-and-run attacks with Domain Amplification. She screams in panic, asking Choso to do something before she dies. Choso nonchalantly fires three blood arrows from long range across the platform. Infinity stops them and Satoru takes note of Chos’ location but decides to ignore him as the range of his technique is probably reaching its limit.
The non-magicians who cannot see the curses begin to avoid Satoru, and if their numbers continue to dwindle, Satoru will get a chance to catch a glimpse of Jogo. Disabling Limitless to draw curses and boosting to banish them up close are both hands that Satoru has played before. It would be unfortunate if they launched another large-scale attack. Satoru can’t save everyone, but he promises to exorcise the curses and avenge them in return.
Jogo is still worried and believes that twenty minutes should have passed by now. On the Fukutoshin Line platform, Pseudo-Geto is waiting with Dagon, saying that they need to get the big Gojo on edge before they make a move.
Meanwhile, at Meiji-Jingumae Station B4F, Team Mei Mei regroups and heads down towards B5F on the Fukutoshin Line Platform. On the way down, Mei Mei praises Yuji, saying that his strength is on par with a 1st grade wizard. He is the first, he knows about her from Atsuya Kusakabe that he is so skilled without innate technique. Yuji answers and reveals that it wasn’t Mahito at B2F and it wouldn’t be that easy. Carrying her sister’s battle axe, Ui Ui sternly tells Yuji to graciously accept her sister’s bow.
They get to the B5F and find a civilian below, but his head transforms and he dies. Mahito was here but had already left, which frustrated Yuji. Before the man died, he mentioned that they were all on the train. This makes Yuji realize that he is heading straight for where Gojo is. Back at Hikarie ShinQ, Satoru is surprised to see a train arriving. Some of the civilians try to board and flee, but it’s full of shapeshifters who start attacking as soon as they’re released.
Satoru watches in horror as Mahito gets off the train to greet Jogo. Mahito says they should keep a few people and hunt them in the forest on weekends. Jogo wants to burn down the forest, but Mahito mentions that Hanami would be upset. Jogo reveals that Hanami is dead, surprising Mahita.
