Summary:
Nobara proves how crazy she can be in the world’s most dangerous game of chicken. She corners the Images of Death, allowing her and Yuji to use the power the black sparks give her.
Plot:
After impaling her own arm with a nail, Nobara taunts her enemies despite her injuries. He claims he knows they don’t like pain and suggests they deactivate their Rot Technique. Ace worries about the consequences of such a counter technique, but ultimately decides that Nobara will lose the long game of chicken. Straw Doll Technique: Resonance applies cursed energy to cause damage to the target body part of the opponent. The effectiveness of the technique depends on various factors, but Nobara is closely related to both brothers due to the effect of decomposition on her body.
Ace doesn’t believe wizards will be able to move due to the pain and poison from Decay. However, Yuji is immune to the poison thanks to Sukuna and starts charging his fist with cursed energy. Nobara uses a second round of resonance to keep the curses immobilized, allowing Yuji to ignore the pain and pound at Kechizu with flaming fists of fury. Worried, Eso calls out his brother’s name, prompting Nobara to reactivate Resonance, preventing him from interfering.

Yuji and Nobara switch positions and opponents, forcing Ace to consider deactivating the technique before Nobara can finish off Kechiza. At first, Eso believes that they will succumb to Decay before Yuji can kill him, but notices Kechizu in rough shape and instinctively deactivates Decay. He switches to activate Maximum: Wing King and tries to hit Nobara from behind before finishing off his little brother.
But Nobara’s focus is sharpened by the pain left from the decomposition, and Yuji stands in front of Ace, ready to take him down before the Wing King reaches Nobara. Unbeknownst to Ace, Yuji is the center where the cursed energy connects with the man chosen by the sparks of black. Nobara and Yuji both unleash Black Flash on their targets, dealing incredibly high damage to both brothers, crippling Kechiza, and completely destroying Es’s left arm.
Eso doesn’t understand how his arm was shot despite the jujutsu protection and begs Kechizu not to die. The younger brother rushes in and tries to kill Nobara, but the Girl of Steel finishes him off by activating the Straw Doll Technique: Hairpin. This detonates a nail in Kechizu’s face and violently expels him as a giant spike of cursed energy explodes from the nail and pierces his head.
Nobara tells Kechizu that he doesn’t need to worry about his big brother because Eso will join him soon.
