Summary:
The battle between Satoru Gojo and the Special Grade Curses continues below Shibuya Station. The criminals continue to try to carry out their plan, but Satoru proves once again why he is the best, opposing them every step of the way.
Plot:
Jogo and Hanami are intimidated by Satoru’s threats. He tells them to come and fight because they were the ones who said not to run. Without fear, Satoru walks right up to Jogo’s face, ignoring the Hanami beside him. They both move to attack, but Satoru blocks Jogo’s hand with his own physical body. He dodges Hanami’s punch attempt and rips Jogo’s arm off. He uses it to block Hanami’s follow-up attack and continues to chase Jogo.
Hanami realizes that Satoru only threatened them earlier to confuse them, and not only that, Satoru completely disabled his limitless technique. He asks if Satoru plans to abandon the focus on his technique and plans to fight in close quarters. Hanami decides that in this situation it is best to activate his innate technique. However, this turns out to be a fatal flaw. Jogo turns and yells at Hanani, reminding him not to deactivate the domain amplification.
Satoru turns and grabs the tree branches growing out of Hanami’s eye sockets. The strongest wizard violently rips the branches completely from Hanami’s shell. He knew that curses would not be able to use the barrier technique and their innate technique at the same time. Jogo runs away in fear, shocked that Satoru is so powerful while only using cursed energy manipulation and physical attacks.
Choso attempts to hit Gojo with Blood Manipulation while killing civilians along the way, but is stopped by Infinity. Satoru recognizes that Choso is the image of death and decides to ignore him for now so he can deal with the two more active curses. Jogo and Hanami attack him again with Domain Amplification. This time, however, Satoru can counter by powering up Infinity since Hanami is in a weakened state.
.
Satoru turns on Hanami and smashes him against the wall with an extended Limitless. Jogo tries to distract him by threatening civilians, but Satoru doesn’t hesitate to completely crush Hanami, destroying the curse and leaving nothing but a giant crater in the wall. With Hanami exorcised, Satoru turns back to look into the distraught Jogo’s gaze, claiming to be next.
Near Exit 2 of Meiji-Jingumae Station, the assistant manager meets with Mei Mei’s team to inform them of the development of the Shibuya incident. They already know about the curtain surrounding the station that traps non-magicians. After Gojo entered, a new barrier appeared on the Fukutoshin Line platform to keep the wizards out. Between the two curtains is the caster who takes this risk to strengthen the barrier. Two other managers have already been taken out and there are several transformed people between the barriers. This forces Yuji to remember Mahita’s face and shocks the young man by revealing that his nemesis must be close.
