Plot:
Takuma Ino looks confused over the roof of Shibuya Tower at Ogami and her grandson, who has turned into Toji Fushiguro. Ino finds out that the old woman is a necromancer and he can tell with just one look that Toji is ridiculously strong.
The jujutsu wizard attempts to summon the Auspicious Beast, Ryu, but Toji rips off his mask before Ino even knows what’s happening. Realizing that his opponent has incredible speed, Ino tries to turn around, but Toji lands a powerful right hook right into the wizard’s jaw. He follows up by grabbing Ino by the collar and pummeling her in the face with a flurry of merciless rapid-fire punches.
Down on the Metropolitan Expressway. Awasaka is surrounded by Megumi’s Rabbit Escape shikigami. He realizes that their purpose is more of a diversion than an attack. He wonders if the Jujutsu High School students will try to kill him from behind the rabbits, but the shikigami swarm is suddenly disabled.
Suddenly, Max Elephant falls from the sky with Megumi on top and attempts to smash the curse user with the force of its weight. The impact is great, but Awasaka counters and the shikigami is deactivated as quickly as it appeared. This angers the old man, who demands that Megumi stand up and fight him directly. Megumi replies that it’s more Yuji’s style, and throws the car at Awasaka right at Yuji’s call. The curse user is able to nullify the blow, but is surprised by Yuji’s raw strength.
Megumi’s plan just involves relentless attacks for now. He gets the curse user’s attention while Yuji prepares full power. Awasaka believes that she can easily predict Yuji’s strike and Megumi’s attack at the same time. Awasaka’s cursed technique is Inverse, making strong attacks weak and weak attacks strong when activated. He believes that the harder the opponent’s fight, the easier he wins. Apparently no one has avoided his counterattack after a desperate swing of the power play.
When Yuji and Megumi retreated earlier, Megumi had already understood their opponent’s innate technique. He reasoned that the Awaka Inverse technique must have a maximum and a minimum limit, and the curse user strengthens their body with the cursed energy on top. He can’t win against someone as strong as Gojo and complex techniques would put him at a disadvantage. Yuji understood and suggested that they attack with both a strong and a weak attack. Megumi agreed, stating that they just needed to keep the pressure on and prevent him from realizing they figured it out.
In the current exchange of blows, Yuji makes contact and his strike is nullified, but a mere poke with Megumi’s toad’s tongue is enough to cause serious damage. Awasaka is bleeding from the mouth and before he gets a chance to recover, the two boys continue their merciless attack. Injured for the first time in this battle, Awasaka refuses to lose and forces the boy back, demanding that the children not be conceited.
Suddenly, Yuji gets behind the old man and throws another full force. Awasaka turns to face him, but Yuji stops just before. The student adjusts his punch, throwing a weaker punch that makes the Inverse extremely powerful and knocks the curse user unconscious. Intrigued, Megumi tells Yuji that he can play subtle punches surprisingly well.
